WELCOME The project 'Vision 2000: gender in quality certification systems', wants to analyze the norms of the quality system ISO 9000:2000 (International Organization for Standardization) in order to introduce the gender point of view. A lot of enterprises are ISO 9001:2000-certified and this gives them credibility and trustworthiness inside and outside the business environment. However, Equal Opportunities are not taken into consideration in the ISO 9000 family context. We believe that the consideration of gender issues in the ISO 9000 standards that certify the enterprise processes, brings more productivity and higher levels of efficiency and competitiveness. The aim of our project is to analyze the ISO norms from a gender point of view for the advantage of both employees and enterprises.
