PROJECT PRODUCTS The project's aim is the creation of innovative gender mainstreaming tools for ISO 9001:2000 Quality System certified organizations. The achievement of this result lies in the creation of products envisaged for each phase, which are as follows:

Phase 1: gathering and description of Good Practice experiences and existing products (manuals, brochures, experimental projects, etc…) relative to the Organizations - Equal Opportunities issues.

Phase 2: study of ISO 9000:2000 standards in a gender perspective and creation of the procedures to be implemented. Central development phase whose result is a comment of “UNI EN ISO9000 Fundamentals and Vocabulary” and of “UNI EN ISO 9004 Guidelines for performance improvement”, in which gender differences and problems to be included in the procedures are identified and discussed. Creation of Background Cards.

Phase 2: first series of meetings/seminars with the business and Quality System certification world to compare and build together a path for personnel management in a perspective of coherence with the actual needs of a business reality.

Phase 2: creation of a dedicated website, in English and in Italian, which is developed alongside the project's activities.

Phase 3: creation of training modules for Human Resources managers for management in gender perspective to be implemented in quality procedures.

Phase 3: creation of training modules for Quality System Auditors/Assessors so they can certify the gender component during audits.

Phase 4: second series of meetings/seminars with the business world to present stakeholders with training models and have a feedback on their coherence, pertinence and feasibility.

Phase 5: creation of the end product: a CD-ROM “Equality Certification Vademecum”, in Italian and in English, containing the presentation of the project and the project products.
